Patabamba Huchuy Qosqo Inca Trail 2days

TOURS 1ST DAY: TOUR CUSCO – PATABAMBA

At 8 am you will be picked up from the hotel to board our transport that will take us to the community of Patabamba where we will have a very cordial welcome and familiarization with the residents.

We will start our first activity, which is TEXTILERY, they will show us the entire process until we have a final product, such as spinning wool, washing wool with natural soap (Roque ) and dyeing with natural products. A local guide will accompany you to this activity, which is the selection of plants and flower petals for dyeing the wool and at the same time they will show us how the weaving process is and they will teach us how in their textiles they can graph their daily experience, their customs and their ancestral beliefs.

We will enjoy a delicious typical lunch prepared by the inhabitants of the area.

In the afternoon we go to some places to do Ethnobotanical tourism with the direction of our local guide, we will collect medicinal plants and of which he will explain to us about the utilities and properties of said plants.

The weavers of the community will present their products to us if they wish they can purchase them.

The mamachas will teach us to prepare a poultice (herbal preparation for bumps, muscle aches and swelling)

Dinner and overnight in family accommodations suitable for visitors.

TOURS 2ND DAY: PATABAMBA – HUCHUYQOSQO – TOUR CUSCO

Very early we will enjoy a delicious typical breakfast and we will say goodbye to our hosts and we will start with a walk we will go through villages and communities and we will be able to interact with the inhabitants from these places we will be able to enjoy wonderful views of the Urubamba mountain range and the Sacred Valley of the Incas we will enjoy a box lunch and arrive at the Puma Punku canyon (Puma gate) we will begin the walk through the Capac Ñan (great path) this path will take us to the Huchuy archaeological complex Qosqo (Small Cusco) place with beautiful terraces, stone buildings and adobe bricks, we will have a guided visit in this archaeological complex and we will enjoy the majestic and enigmatic landscape of this place.

Then we start the tour we will start the walk along a bridle path that leads to the town of Lamay. This walk lasts approx. 2 hours of descent from this place you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Sacred Valley of the Incas with its meandering Vilcanota River. From Lamay transfer by transport to Cusco.
