Lake Sandoval Adventure 3 days / 2 nights

Day before 7 pm transfer from the hotel to the bus terminal to board the bus and travel 9 hours to Puerto Maldonado.

Tours 1st day: ADVENTURE CIRCUIT – MONKEY ISLAND – NIGHT WALK

Prior coordination, they will be picked up at the land terminal and transferred to our office in Puerto Maldonado where they can leave their luggage and we will move to the port Ca Pitanía we boarded the boat and traveled approx. 30 minutes along the Madre de Dios River arriving at our lodge we have a cordial welcome and we settle into our comfortable rooms and we begin with the adventure tour we will climb a 27-meter towers from where you can appreciate the wonderful landscape of the jungle, we arrive to a suspension bridge and to the launching platform of Tirolineas (Zip Line) we will cross the bridge over the 89 meters long trees reaching a height of 37 meters from this height you can see a diversity of animals that are difficult to see from the ground .

This is an unforgettable experience of shooting line with 190 meters cables with safety equipment.

After lunch we visit the Monkey Island, there will be a walk where you can see different varieties of monkeys on the banks of the Madre de Dios River you can see the ronsoco, black caimans , turtles, herons, the cormorant and other species of animals in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge and dinner.

At night we will do a night walk to appreciate the alligators and listen to the sound of the nocturnal jungle. Rest in the hostel.

Tours 2nd day.- PARROT CLICK – SANDOVAL LAKE – CAIMANEO

Very breakfast early 5 am and we will visit the collpa of parrots of the Cachuela with a 50 minute trip where it is possible to see a variety of species of parrots that gather to eat clay that contains minerals necessary for their diet this is a wonderful multicolored and unique show in the jungle return to the lodge and breakfast . We board the boat and travel until we reach the shores of the Sandoval lake port where we register to enter the TAMBOPATA NATIONAL RESERVE – SANDOVAL LAKE

We will walk for about an hour. and in a rowing canoe we can walk through this beautiful lake where you can appreciate a variety of birds and animals we will have lunch in a restaurant on Lake Sandoval. We return to the lodge and have dinner.

Tours 3rd day.- HOSTEL – PUERTO MALDONADO – RETURN

Very early breakfast, transfer by motorized boat to Puerto Maldonado and from there to the airport or land terminal.

BRIEF HISTORICAL REVIEW OF MOTHER OF GOD:

Since pre-Hispanic times Madre de Dios has been considered a mythical land and has been identified with both El Dorado and Paititi.
