Itinerary Summary

Trek day 1: Cusco – Lares thermal baths -Huacahuasi

• 5.30 am transfer from the hotel to board the transport to the town of Lares
• 9 am arrival thermal baths of Lares and enjoy the thermomedical waters
• 12:30 pm lunch prepared by our cook
• 1:30 pm we start the walk for 4 hours
• 4:30 pm arrival at the Huacahuasi camp
• 5 pm you can visit a local family and interact with the people of Huacahuasi
• 7 pm dinner and camp – Tours Peru

Trek day 2: Huacahuasi – Ipsaycocha – Patacancha

• 6 am breakfast at the camp
• 7 am we start the walk to ipsaycocha we enjoy the landscape
• 12 pm lunch while enjoying a beautiful landscape
• 2 pm – 5 pm walk to Patacancha
• 6 pm dinner and overnight at the camp – Tours Peru

Trek day 3: Patacancha – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes

• 7 am we can pay a visit to a local family
• 8 am breakfast
• 9 am – 1 pm walk to Ollantaytambo
• 1:30 pm lunch in a restaurant
• 2 pm option to visit the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo
• 4 pm must show up at the train station
• 4.36 pm we board the train to Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu Pueblo
• 6:30 pm arrival to Machu Picchu town reception and transfer to the hotel
• 8.30 pm the guide visits you at the hotel and gives you information about the tour in Machu Picchu and overnight at the hotel

Trek day 4: Tour Machupicchu – Ollantaytambo – Cusco

• 5:00 am breakfast or box lunch
• 5:30 am- bus to Machu Picchu
• 6:30 am visitor registration to enter Machu Picchu world wonder
• 7am – 9 am Guided tour in the citadel of Machu Picchu
• 9:30 am 1:30 pm approx. free time according to your criteria so that you can take pictures or charge yourself with positive energies in Machu Picchu.
• 2 pm Bus back to Aguas Calientes
• 3 pm Lunch
• 5.50 pm Show up at the Machu Picchu Pueblo train station
• 6:30 pm board the return train to Ollantaytambo
• 8:30 pm Arrival to the town of Ollantaytambo
• 10:30 pm Arrival in Cusco – Peru

Detailed Itinerary

TREK DAY 1: TOUR CUSCO – VALLE DE LARES – WACAHUASI

Transfer from the hotel at 5 am to then go to the town of Lares on the way we will be able to appreciate the majestic sacred valley with its fertile lands, then we arrive at the small town of Calca (2940 masl) then ascending through the small villages of Totora and Maucaupata where the settlers dress in their typical costumes, and are mostly dedicated to textiles, agriculture and livestock.
Finally after a trip of approx. 4 hours we arrive at Lares (3,200 masl) visit the thermal baths to take a refreshing bath. After lunch, after having contacted our muleteers, we started the walk arriving at our first camp in 4 hours Wacawasi (3600 masl)

TREK DAY 2: TREK WACAHUASI –IPSAYCOCHA – PATACANCHA

After breakfast we start the walk to our second camp. This day we start early as we will ascend passing through the ipsay pass on the way we will appreciate different peasant communities as well as different customs and textiles that they themselves weave for daily use. We will arrive at the ipsaycocha lagoon where lunch will be, after a nap we will continue to the town of Patacancha where we will spend the second night.

TREK DAY 3: PATACANCHA TREK – WILLOQ – OLLANTAYTAMBO – SACRED VALLEY

After breakfast we will continue with our walk to the small town of Willoq, a population with original customs, we will also pass through small towns during our walk we will be able to observe the archaeological remains of Qochapata and Pumamarca . At approximately 2:00 pm we will arrive at the town of Ollantaytambo, after lunch we will have free time until 7:30 pm after which we will board the train to Aguas Calientes we will spend the last night in a lodging with private bathroom and hot water. </ p>

TREK DAY 4: TOURS MACHU PICCHU – AGUAS CALIENTES “PUEBLO MACHUPICCHU” – TOUR CUSCO

Very early we will start walking towards the Inca city of Machupicchu to be able to see the sunrise and then have the guided tour of approximately 2:30 min after which we will have free time until 3:00 pm and at 4:00 pm we will board the train back to Cusco.
